Opinicus in Sheffield by Insane Hedgehog.

Oh, how I love these small clubs. The smell of cigarettes (you can’t smoke them anymore but you can still feel them in the drapery and you see the yellowish stuff on the walls…), bartender serving you cold beer and people, so honestly in love with music… And of course all these unsigned bands, their energy, their passion and all their technical fuckups - so natural and vivid! It’s good to have an overview of what’s going on there and here and, as usual, to be surprised with a discovery of a new true gem.

Last night I went to the Boardwalk club (just next door from me), to see Opinicus and few other bands playing live. And it kicked my ass.
